Google Checkout = Geckout!

Good morning. I am drinking a black roasted coffee at Panera Bread. The store manager is sporting a pink polo. Me? I am wearing my Stepping Out Against Aids T-Shirt.

Christina Aguilera is singing Ain’t No Other Man. Great song. I jogged to this last night. This morning I am bouncing to it while I blog.

OK. For Google Google Inc.(Public, NASDAQ:GOOG.) The company with spunk. The creators of Gmail, bless their souls. So here’s the deal; a little while back, Google launched a Checkout service for ecommerce sites. Today, sans circumcision ritual, I hereby name Google Checkout. The new name is Geckout! I like it. It sounds like Geico. Merchants can brag: I just save 15% on my AdWords thanks to Geckout!

So, there you go. Other potential marketing slogans incorporating Geckout:

  1. Got Geckout?
  2. Lines are short, use Geckout!
  3. Do YOU Geckout?

May Geckout grow up to be a source of pride to the Google family. Amen!
