The folks at Google must be in LOVE with Entourage star Jeremy Piven. I have never seen anything like this in my life.
I just made a random google search for the term “jeremy piven“. The search results bring up a sponsored ad by GOOGLE. The ad reads: Google Congratulates Jeremy Piven Of “Entourage” For Winning A 2006 Emmy Award.
When you click on the ad, it takes you to special landing page that states: We were rooting for you to strike gold at the Emmy Awards ceremony the other night, and we were thrilled when you did. As firm believers in accountability, Google salutes professionals like you who have accomplished great things.
PLUS, it looks like GOOGLE wants to hug it out with Jeremy Piven. The dedicated page ends off saying: The question is, what’s left to conquer? To explore additional collaborative opportunities in this field, please contact: entertainment-team@google.com.
FYI, I also discovered Google pulling the same schtick with Emmy Winner Kiefer Sutherland , Tony Shalhoub , Seinfeld lady Julia Louis Dreyfus and other Emmy Winners.
Yahoo just met with psycho-star Tom Cruise. Is Google trying to recruit some star power of their own???
